Since 1923, we, Kuhlmann GmbH & Co. KG, have operated as a medium-sized, owner-managed wholesale company based in Lage.

Steel products and tools are our passion.

Everything began with the trade in iron and the supply of tools, screws, and ball bearings. Over the years, alongside our customers, our product range has grown in both breadth and depth. Today, we are a modern steel and materials trading business, supplying not only steel materials, but also an extensive range of tools, machinery, and technical equipment for metal, wood, and plastics processing, as well as personal protective equipment (PPE).

Our customers – both then and now – are craft businesses and industrial companies located in the East Westphalia-Lippe region.

As a member of the EDE association, we are part of the Union Werkzeug-HandelPRO performance network, where we offer not only high-quality tools from leading manufacturers, but also the premium private label FORUM.

We are certified to DIN ISO 9001:2015 and are very proud of this achievement. Since January 2015, we have also met the requirements of the steel construction standard EN 1090 for our steel division, giving us another important quality seal within our industry.
