Irmach - Woodworking Technology Lda.

In 1998 José Ferreira founded a small company named JFJ - J. Ferreira & Jesus Lda. that started producing band saw blades and repair sharpening machines.

In the 2000s, with the entry of the new partner Carlos Rocha, the company decided to start developing its own machines for the sawmill industry as well representing other manufacturers and started repairing used machines. This proved to be a winning choice as JFJ - J. Ferreira & Jesus Lda began to grow and develop new and more advanced machines.

In 2020 Carlos Rocha became the owner of the company, and in 2021 Irmach - Woodworking Tcehnology Lda was founded to work exclusively with new machines, while J.F.J. - J. Ferreira & Jesus Lda, currently continues to work only in the second-hand machine market.

Today, Irmach continues to work in its original headquarters in Seroa - Paços de Ferreira, in its own facilities with about 5,000 square meters, with a staff of more than 30 employees.

Nowadays, 25 years after the beginning of its productive activity, and with equipment installed and operating in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania, Irmach follows and in many cases surpasses its competitors in the forestry and wood sawing equipment market.
Through the machines produced under its Bartly trademark, Irmach manages to equip automated lines for sawmills. Alongside, Irmach produces machines for the sharpening/grinding industry, semiautomatic lines for pallet production and other machines for the pallet industry and also machines for the biomass industry.
