* 2 selectable series inductances 150μH, 300μH, to adjust the pulse width and rise times to the load capacitance and voltage.
* Pulse repetition frequency 0.1 – 2.5 kHz, adjustable.
* Polarity: Adjustable to positive, negative, or alternating, depending on the polarity of the sine wave.
* Cosine-shaped pulse at the transformer output

Pulse Transformer Cascade

* Output transformers in a 5-stage cascaded circuit.
* Total turns ratio selectable as 1:7.7, 1:10, or 1:15 via taps.
* Maximum output voltage 15kV with possible load capacitances of: * 6nF with a pulse width of 73μs at a repetition frequency of 2.5kHz * 10nF with a pulse width of 103μs at a repetition frequency of 1.25kHz
* Voltage divider 1:1000 in parallel.
* Overvoltage protection at approximately 20-23 kV via parallel spark gaps
* Thermistor for overtemperature detection in the 1st transformer stage.
* Earth-side current measurement socket 100 mV/A.

Breakdown Detection, Testing

* If the maximum bridge currents for the transformer drives or the maximum currents of the bridge power supplies are exceeded, the high voltage is switched off.
* The device has a resettable operating hour counter to determine the test time.
