Hosokawa Bepex BX 150

Unused Hosokawa Bepex model BX 150 stainless steel (AISI 316) basket extruder for low pressure extrusion. Products with loose structure, large surface and good forming properties are produced with this machine. The product consists of a paste of low flow characteristics and low moisture content. The product to be processed is transported by the inlet into the machine. In the product area are two rotors which works in oposite directions to each other.
- The upper 2-arm rotor with angle rotor and additional stirrers mixes and conveys the material down. Rotor is driven through gearbox by 0.55 kW, 60 Hz electrical motor, adjustable speed from approx. 14 - 139 rpm.

- The lower 3-arms rotor is equipped with curved arms and rotor knives. Through the lower 3-arm rotor the product is compressed and forced through a cylindrical screen basket. The diameter of the granules results from the perforation diameter in the screen basket. Rotor is driven through gearbox by 3.0 kW, 60 Hz electrical motor, adjustable speed from approx. 15 - 144 rpm.

Includes (2) extrusion screens 2 mm dia x 1.2 mm thick, switchboard with integrated control panel. Mounted on stainless steel frame with (4) wheels.
