4.14.1 Basic construction

The machine is designed as a closed aluminum profile frame and is very compact.
The control cabinets are integrated in the lower part of the frame.
The main valve terminal is located behind a service door below the control panel.

The system includes four workstation stops.
Operation is via a touch screen.
The control panel is mounted on the right side of the rack.

A labeling system from Bluhm Weber is used in the station; the documentation from Bluhm applies here accordingly.

4.14.2 Functional sequence

- The incoming workpiece carriers with IO modules are stopped, lifted out (positioned) and contacted in sub-stations 10.1 or 10.2.
In these two stations
- Automatic labeling of the IO modules takes place in substation 10.3. The labels and their contents are generated automatically, as is their application to the devices.
- After labeling, the module is finalized in station 10.4, where it is stopped, lifted out and contacted. After finalization, the workpiece carrier is automatically ejected from the station.
