Capsule Extraction System 16-cavity with Packaging Automation
Short description:
Capsules are removed from the open mould using the extraction arm.
The presence of the parts is checked on the extraction arm.
As soon as the extraction arm reaches its end position in the robot, the parts are flipped in a 180° turning station.
After the turning process, the capsules are stacked directly in a horizontal orientation.

A separate stack is formed for each cavity.
Once the stacks reach a quantity of 24 parts, all stacks are ejected into a buffer.
This buffer is driven vertically by a servomotor.
Once all 16 stacks are in the buffer, each tier moves to the level of the stacking table.
As soon as a row reaches this level, all 4 stacks are pushed onto the table.
From the table, the stacks are then automatically packed into boxes using a 6-axis robot.
