Since the unit uses dry-running cylinders, it eliminates the need for internal lubrication. Therefore, operators can use it in critical applications where they must avoid any air contamination. The Used Air Compressor CMC CWA11-800 40 bar operates with three cylinders across two compression stages. It draws air at atmospheric pressure and functions in ambient temperatures ranging from +1 to +35 °C. Consequently, the unit suits various environmental conditions. The system delivers an intake flow rate of 800 cubic meters per hour and reaches a maximum pressure of 42 bar. Mechanical Equipment and Functional Components


CMC designed the Used Air Compressor CMC  with a base frame supported by four anti-vibration feet. As a result, operators can install the unit directly on the floor without additional foundation work. The W-type compressor block features dry cylinders and pistons with PTFE-loaded sealing rings. In contrast to lubricated systems, this configuration prevents oil contamination. Furthermore, stainless steel suction and delivery valves include automatic unloader mechanisms that support load/unload functionality. In terms of transmission, the motor and compressor connect via trapezoidal belts, which simplify maintenance. The intake side also includes a silenced filter, while a protective cage improves operator safety.
