The profile projector is used in the precision industry to solve measuring and inspection tasks that cannot be solved at all or not as economically with other methods. ISOMA profile projectors are suitable for series inspections (full inspections or spot checks), as well as for measuring and inspecting individual parts (e.g. in toolmaking).
The workpiece is imaged exactly to scale at a certain magnification. Profile shape and distances can be compared with reference drawings of corresponding precision or measured directly with the scale. Deviations from nominal values, or any distances on the workpiece can be accurately determined using the precision measuring stage.
