Manufacturer's description;
The powerful drive provides the prerequisite for high cutting performance, long service life of the saw blades and perfectly clean cut surfaces. All gears are hardened and flank-ground.
The entire gearbox runs in an oil bath; all bearing points have roller bearings. Various speeds can be achieved by means of gear wheels, the cutting speeds of which are switched electrically by pole-changing motors.

The tried and tested saw blade guide in a strong pivot bearing is subject to practically no wear. It is rigid and allows work within the tightest tolerances.
The hydraulic feed of the saw blade is infinitely adjustable according to Skla.
