The PEGAS 260×280 SHI-LR is a semi-automatic band saw designed for both single-piece and small-batch production. The machine is suitable for straight and mitre cutting of structural steel, stainless steel, tool steel, solid bars and profiles. Angle cutting is continuously adjustable from 60° to the right and 45° to the left.

All major load-bearing components are manufactured from high-quality cast iron, providing exceptional rigidity, vibration damping, high cutting accuracy and a long service life. The saw head is inclined at 25°, reducing blade wear and extending blade life.

The hydraulic semi-automatic cycle controls material clamping, cutting, saw head return and vice opening, while material loading is performed manually. Feed pressure and cutting feed rate are easily adjustable for optimum cutting performance.

Inspection and Test Run

The machine can be inspected and tested under working conditions at the manufacturer's premises in Slavkov u Brna, Czech Republic.
