Status: during general overhaul.

The PORĘBA TR series lathe is a universal machine tool intended for both roughing and finishing operations. It is particularly suitable for machining shafts as well as heavy, large-size workpieces.
The offered machine is currently undergoing a general overhaul – the last photo presents its current stage of refurbishment. The remaining photographs show TR series lathes after general overhauls performed by our company and delivered to end users. They serve as a reference for the final quality standard and workmanship.

Scope of the general overhaul:
- Complete dismantling of the lathe
- Regeneration and replacement of worn components
- Calibration of trapezoidal lead screws and manufacturing of new bronze nuts

- Replacement of bearings and sliding bushings, including new spindle bearings
- Grinding of bed, carriage and top slide guideways, followed by scraping of mating surfaces (with application of anti-friction materials)
- Regeneration of the tailstock quill
- Regeneration of the tool post
- Overhaul and modernization of lubrication and coolant systems
- Electrical scope: manufacturing of a new electrical cabinet, complete new machine wiring, and replacement of all electrical components with new ones
- Inspection of electric motors together with replacement of bearings
- New painting
- After completion of the overhaul: trial assembly, preliminary acceptance at our workshop, positioning on the foundation, levelling and final acceptance
- Adaptation of the lathe to minimum safety requirements in accordance with applicable EU Directives
