VOORWOOD Slitter Rewinder Voorwood

ROTARY SHEAR SLITTING STATION:
The rotary shear slitting station is a modular design allowing detachment from the main frame. The powered 60mm (2.367 inch) diameter upper and lower knife shafts drive the male and female shear knife assemblies. The male and female shear knife assemblies may be positioned anywhere within the web area and are held in position by eccentric locking keys. The removable male shear knife shaft assembly is mounted to a rigid dovetail bar assembly. The dovetail bar assembly is adjustable axially for shear knife face contact pressure and rotationally for knife overlap. A two-position lock lever assembly is used to rotate the dovetail bar assembly 900to the open position for removal of knife shaft assembly or closed in the slitting position. Rotary shear drive speed is proportional to web speed or manually controlled by the operator.
REWIND:

The slit web is alternately rewound on the duplex air expanding rewind shafts. Flange mounted rewind shafts provide ease of change to other desired types or diameters. The outboard rewind support swings open for removal of finished rolls from the cantilevered rewind shafts.
