Washing system
The heart of the PT series: Inside the machine, two S-shaped wash fields are in operation. Thanks to optimized flow dynamics and special nozzle geometry, these ensure even water distribution for outstanding cleaning results – with rinse water consumption starting from just 2.2 liters per cycle. Attention to detail is key: robust stainless steel axles ensure optimum rotation and contribute to the PT-XL’s high reliability.

Variable wash pressure adjustment
Every Winterhalter PT-XL comes equipped with variable water pressure regulation as standard: VarioPower precisely adjusts the wash pressure to suit the type of washware and degree of soiling. Fine glasses and fragile bowls are cleaned with gentle pressure, while sturdy cookware is washed at higher pressure. Heavy contamination is reliably removed, while delicate items are treated gently and held safely in place.

Wastewater heat recovery
A clear advantage of the PT series: EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery is standard. The heat exchanger utilizes the energy from wastewater to preheat the incoming cold water. The benefits: faster heating between wash cycles, resource savings, and up to 10% lower energy costs.

Exhaust air heat recovery
The Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus includes exhaust air heat recovery. In addition to standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is used. This recovers energy from the warm steam inside the machine and preheats the inlet water. When opening the machine, hardly any moist, warm steam escapes into the room. Per wash cycle, up to 15% energy savings can be achieved.
