With hygiene a major factor in the food industry, Scanvaegt's Scan Combinator 5400 multihead weigher has been developed with this in mind.

This machine has hygienic features such as watertight closed leg construction, so that water and dirt can't hide in crevices inside the machine, and it has no plane surfaces to stop dirt from adhering.

The weigher can be incorporated at the heart of packaging line, as it can handle infeed, weighing and packing into almost any kind of packaging, or as stand-alone multihead weigher, for use with wet, individually quick frozen and dry products.

This line is complete with Marel/Scanvaegt Scan Combinator 5414-2L-AD Multihead Weigher, feed vibrator and platform.
